Approved Fire Gear was established in 1980 by present owners Terry & Kerry Priestley.  The company operates from Melbourne Street East Maitland and services the Hunter region and beyond.

We have proudly provided our services to businesses of the Hunter, Central Coast & North Coast regions for over 41 years.

We provide sales, service and consultation on all aspects of fire safety, fire detection, fire protection, fire fighting and emergency evacuation.  

Our team of specialised fire safety practitioners includes electricians, plumbers, builders, sprinkler fitters & fire engineers. 

We are a member of the Fire Protection Association of Australia, we attend regular seminars held by the FPA so our team can be up to date with industry practice and news as well as changes to Australian Standards and Regulations.
